Can you come this far? I've got a 455 block from a 71 Riv. Main caps and old crank included. Tons of other parts too. It is in Chapel Hill, NC Let me know if you think it's close enough to drive here.

Steve, Car is still there! I removed :TU: the front accessories and someone else removed the carb, valve covers, etc. I took the timing cover since it was fairly new. So, all Fernando needs to do is remove the intake and heads. LKQ is the new name of Copher's and they charge $50-70 for the short block!
Just stopped by the casueway U-Wrench-It yard -- the 1969 Electra is now gone! There was also a 1969 Buick LeSabre at the Copher's U-Wrench-It in Bradenton, 1880 63 Ave Bradenton. 941-753-2887. Not sure if it had a 430 though I'm pretty confident it did -- engine was there two weeks ago. -- Steve
