considering trading my '87 GN for a '66 or '67 GS. need a good "driver" not a show queen or a gutted projected car. something in between I can drive today and tinker on when I have time. I'm basically just casually looking because I don't have "liquid assests" to work with. I'm making payments on the GN and I'd like to get out from under that as well as get into a car I can drive, possibly daily. My GN is *very* clean, 44k orig. miles and some good mods, but it's really too nice to drive much. This is the third turbo Buick I've owned and I think I'm over it - ready to get back to basics with a good v8. I've always liked the 67 Skylark body so if I could find a good one for sale by someone interested in working a deal I'd jump on it. Thanks for reading. Rob
by the way, the drive-train doesn't have to be original, and it doens't have to be A GS, but an oiginal GS with a nailhead would be perfect! but my "budget" is probably more in line with a non-GS Skylark. and if anyone is interested, I'm in the Dallas, TX area. thanks again for reading. Rob
Hello Wish I had known about a month ago...I have a 67'Sport coupe with a 340. Car is all original and runs well. Everything works too. I just did a new interior and was gonna use it as a daily driver. I decided instead to do a frame off resto and turn it into a GS340 clone.Had I not already pulled off the entire front clip and sent the bumpers for re chroming, we might have been able to work something out.... Brent P.S check out ebay....theres a Blue 67 skylark with a black vinyl top you may be able to grab...
how much for the gn outright and what condition is it in and mileage and is it original or has it been modified. thanks mike at nailheadpoweredgs@sbcglobal.net
