I live in Milwaukee, WI and i'm looking for a 68-72 Skylark. Looking for something that's half way decent, no rust bucket. If it don't have a motor or trans that's not a problem either. Looking to build a street car to beat up on chevys. I have a couple of vehicles i need to get rid of too, 95 lexus LS400, 96 Saturn SC2, & a 78 GMC short bed pick-up. Would be willing to trade or barter. Alex (414) 349-4311 call anytime.
price range For a project car $0-$3500, it really depends on what kind of condition the car is. My brother-in-law just got stationed in Texas, so i have him looking for my skylark also.
Car Available 1970 Buick Skylark, $4,000. Runs and drives, drove it down from Michigan a couple months ago. Needs radiator support patches. Over $2,000 worth of new parts installed, not including radiator. Car is located in Spur, Texas aprox 70 miles east of Lubbock. Fly in and drive it home. 2 door hardtop, 350-2 w/ 350 automatic trans. Odometer reads 45,000 but motor has been rebuilt. Not sure how many miles since rebuild. Strong runner, recently drove it from Michigan to Texas. Black primer exterior (needs to be sanded back down and painted, has surface rust), black interior. Car is mechanically sound. Possibly the origional motor, cant find numbers to confirm. New parts include: Radiator, waterpump, radiator hoses, upper balljoints, outer tie-rods, rebuilt carburator, headlights, windshield, drum brakes all around, master cylinder, fuel pump, headlight switch, battery, trunk pan, rear coil springs, 2&1/4 dual exhaust, and much more! Car is not perfect, it does need some work. Would make an excellent driving, or frame off restoration. Exterior body is straight, only minor surface rust. Has two small dings on the passenger side, body shop quoted me $100 to remove and prime both before I moved to Texas.
