I have been looking for a driving project for a while on the "cars for sale" post and craigslist and can't find anything so I though I would ask you guys. I am looking for a decent driver 2 door hardtop 70-72 skylark or gs that is in ok condition. I am ok with minor rust issues and paint issues. Also ok with a 350 but would like a 455. Hard to find a 4 speed but am really looking for that as well. I want something I can drive and enjoy while I restore it. Let me know if anyone is looking to sell one. I am ok spending $2500-$6000. the one in sw louisiana is the one I would look into. Price seems fair. If its an original paint car you cant go wrong with that one. the others appear to be painted at one time or another, who knows whats underneath.
The one in louisiana is a post sedan and would rather have a coupe. It does look like a nice car though. I am going to look at the gs in dallas tomorrow so we will find out.
