Looking for 8.2, 3.36 R&P

Are there any 8.2, 3.36 gears available. Need for 66 GS with posi.

 

did you try richmond and precision gear for any? possibly even strange.

 

nobody makes 3.36 gears. your choices for new are 3.55 3.73 3.91 and 4.11

Nice used 3.36 8.2 Pontiac (BOP) gears have been in demand for quite a while. Our last five sets sold w/o any advertising on web boards. Expect to pay $150-175 for such a ratio nice used condition ring & pinion. Unfortunately, they're not "give me's" like 3.08's.

BTW, there are no 3.70's or 3.73's for this style rear.
Only new ring & pinions for this style 8.2 are 3.55, 3.90, 4.11, & 4.56.
At one time 4.88's, 5.14's, & even 5.57's were avail for the 8.2 Pontiac style r/e. Most folks needing such really low ratio gearsets wised up to how weak most 8.2 BOP rears are in the pinion support area, & went to stronger style rears, thus no demand to make them any more.
