Must Be A 455 Car Prefer Stage 1. Car Must Be Numbers Matching And Documented. Will Pay Top Doller For A Correct Car. Thanks!tprice454@wi.rr.com Or 262-255-7855 Terry
have GSXś Hey Terry, Check with stage-x on this board. We have a couple cars in stock. I am in Europe at this time and Mark had a recent family member pass away so I am not sure what is available.
Assuming you could find one for sale, a concours 70 GSX stage 1 four speed like that would be north of 200K. I would say maybe 20 exist--perhaps no more than 10. Only 118 or so were made in 70 and very few in 71 and 72.
Jim,I don't think he said 4 speed. So if you want to give him a better idea of the kind of money he has to come up with, please do.Tom.
in saskatoon SK canada there is a GSX with a GS350 auto, good shape, not sure of the price but is supposeably a #'s match.
Perhaps the most notable public offering of a concours auto trans car is the GS Xtacy 70 QQ, stage 1, which was bid up to around 180K but it did not meet reserve and the owner would not sell. I believe it is still for sale and is located in Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum in Siverville, Tn ( Sp).
In my latest issue of thr "GSX-TRA" they mention under an article of "buick value update" the Mecum Spring Classic Car Auction ,a 1970 GSX Stage 1 auto sold for $133,900.00. There are 3 gsx's in the October Mecum Auction, see what happens....
72 Gsx Just replying to Mark's post; my 72 'X is a 350 auto car but is NOT a #'s matching car. All of the details are on the ad at The Electric Garage on the net, (somewhere) and may get re-listed in the near future; this has been my busiest year on record and I have very little time to enjoy these cars any more let alone work on them! As far as price goes, I'm not sure about that either...(!) was bid to 20K US back in march and I still own it. Anyhow, thanx for the plug
