looking for a 64-67 convertible frame

    hI,
    I'm looking for a 64-67 convertible frame or if avaialble a drivers side rail fron axle to axle (to fix mine)

    Hello, the 67 frame is a little differant than the earlyer frames. It has differant rear spring pockets. You can try a place in California in Sacramento called Buick Bonery. Ken had a 65 Skylark rag top the last time I was there. Looked like a nice frame. Sorry, I dont have his number but it should be easy enough to get.

    If you widen your search to convertable or GS frame, you might have some luck. I believe the GS and vert, are both the heavy boxed units.

    I have a '65 GS frame that is boxed. I was going to use this for a '65 GTO buildup,but that fell through. It is available for $1000. I can deliver to your door for an additional $700 , as it will cost that much in gas ,plus 4 days of travel from Florida and back.The frame is very solid and straight. Ted

    I literally just found one within 50 miles of my house, for cheap. It does need repairs, but my throughly rotted frame has just what this frame needs.
