At my father's pleading request, I'm looking for a clean hood for my '66 Skylark. The one I have is VERY nice, and I'm about to cut it for my Stage II Scoop (SP1 + Nitrous Plate + Demon Carb = No Hood Clearance). I'm either looking for something real nice to justify cutting my hood, or (preferably) something local and straight and rusty and CHEAP I can hack up and not feel bad about. I don't EVER plan on yanking the 455, but who knows I might grow up and take off all that 'hot rod' stuff for hood clearance down the road :laugh: Im in the Philadelphia, PA area... anyone have something to help me out? hood If the 65 lark is the same then your in luck. I have 3 of them laying around one which is going on my car.
I wish. '66 is an one-year only hood. I have one sitting from the accident a couple years ago, but its trash. I only kept it for scap metal when I start fabbing patch panels on the quarters. Thanks tho! :beer
