I think Fred has a very nice or even NOS 71 standard grill....the custom has the stainless strips..the standard is just flat with 3/8 gap between the slats...good looking imo

I've got a standard 71 grille down in Hartford - it's got some repairs but looks good and got all studs. let me know if youre interested and I'll try to dig up some pictures.

 

Yes the GS grills are pricy...
You need to look for a Skylark grill.

 

Apparently I do not still have a '71 Skylark grille.
