Hey guys--a little good forture has fallen my way and I have jingle in my pocket and one garage space. The top of my list is a prewar Buick streetrod--late 30s or 40-41. I want something nice say asking price of 40k max.( I'm looking to pay around 30k) Any leads are appreciated. No projects --I'm old and want to pay more and enjoy now. Quality-- driver and local shows #1 or #2. Here's my preferences--but obviously must compromise ) Big block power 700r-4 A/C Confortable buckets Leather Light color--cream or silver Negatives Body off ect show quality ( I want a driver) Ford or Chevy (I want something different--but who knows--right deal) Black or dark colors (I'm in Fla) Cloth or tweed interiors I've found 4 Buick prospects so far in eastern and central US. I'm sure there's some more that arn't showing with Google searches. I appreciate your help--Chuck

Don't know if this qualifies. I have a '37 Buick Special 4 dr, its black (thats bad), has a 401 nailhead (10000 on rebuild), 2004r overdrive on Iditit tilt column, 3.23 mopar suregrip rear, Fatman front clip with coil overs and power rack, hydroboost power disc brakes front, aluminum radiator/electric fan. Interior has Jeep Grand Cherokee buckets, new leather headliner w/overhead console and original rear seat. Door panels are original and need updating. Floors are solid and insulated(Arizona car) but need better carpet installed. Vintage air, custom dash, Sony stereo indash. Has one piece windshield, has crack which I am working on replacing. I built this car myself and have driven over 10000 miles in last three years. Not really up for sale but saw your add and here I am. Driver quality, not the best paint but very nice body.
