Hey Jason, thanks for remembering this thread! They do look similiar to the ones I posted, but don't have that flat area like the ones on Bob's car. I wonder if more than one variety was used as they look like they'd do the job. Hopefully, someone will recognize what you have and chime in.

Geez' Ken....I told you like 8 weeks ago before the big show I think, that Inline has those clips. I know you guys aren't keen on Inline stuff, but they are the ONLY place I know who has them. Look in the OLDS catalog pg 80, INL 10369. Those clips were used on the W-cars to hold the washer hose to the cowl. I don't know how Inline's clips are plated, mine are original. I think they were olive green or grey phosphate. Also used to hold the hood wire to the cowl. I think the clip at the tach is probably the same. It doesn't look right the way it is, it should clip to something, the hole edge, the lip, I don't know but it's not right the way it is, because it makes no sense to have a metal clip hold a wires and a hose together!

    Hey Frank-

I gave up on trying to get it all together before the show and figured I'd be better off having nothing, which worked as the judges missed that deletion on my car, but dinged the GTO next to me for incorrect parts.

Anyway, somewhere in the process the info you gave me got purged from my memory- I just plain old forgot! I'll take a look at inline. Thanks for the reminder! :TU:

Frank is right. Inline has the firewall clips in their catalog. They're listed as "Cowl lip washer hose clips" and sell for $6 each or $18 for three.

    INL10368 $18 qty 3
    INL10369 $6 each

Yup, that's them! On the W-cars the washer tank was on the pass side 'cuz of the ram-air. So they had to run the hose across the cowl to the pass side and used the same clips. I would think Ames would have the tach de-fogger stuff, I seem to remember seeing it, 'cuz Judges used the same set up. If you are ever looking at Inline for widgets, you REALLY need to look at the Olds catalog in addition to the Buick catalog. There is a LOT more stuff in the Olds catalog, even though they can be used on other makes. I've had like 4 GTO's, Chevelle SS's, Nova SS's, and many others. I'm just new to Buick but know a little of a lot of GM models. Glad to help Ken!
