Last and least are 3 type kit cushions. The ones on left are very thin walled type the need big washer used with them. They flatten out to nothing when torqued to proper specs and become almost non-existant. The middle ones are correct diameter and thickness but also need washer as not molded in. The ones on right have washer molded in but have a much thinner wall than the GM and Cars type and will not last as long in my opinion.

Well, I talked to one rubber company and they said it would be a thousand dollar tooling cost. Juts wonder how many would actually be interested in getting correct sized mounts with the correct inserts that extend through the frame. I may have access to a NOS mount to copy. Let me know if interested. I ma looking for a supplier of the metal inserts.

I bought my set from TPP and i was short 2 mounts for under the firewall, so I called them and they said thats all that comes in the kit? Sounded like I was the only guy that complained of this problem, they never got back to me regarding the additional 2 mounts i was missing? Reading this post I see this is a common with the buicks go figure...

I suspect they are selling a Chev based A body kit and do not realize that Buicks use more.

Surprise I have bought kits from three different sources in the past and even Cars did not know this. Always just ask for convertible set.

No problem. I borrowed an NOS body mount from friend today. It is far superior to reproductions. Now I have something exact to go by. I still need sorce for steel inserts if anyone knows source or the actual manufacturer of the reproduction mounts.
