any suggestions? My girlfriend is coming to live with me for about 3 months here in LA. She could rent a car for that time but maybe it would be cheaper just to buy some crappy old but reliable car. Any suggestions on something that might do the trick. I was thinking a volvo but maybe an old classic so that we dont have to bother about smog and stuff... looking to spend abotu $1000 odd. If it falls apart after 3 months or so thats cool.. just got to last that amount of time and be cheap to insure too. DOesnt matter about the body or interior really ie. if there are dents etc.
