    Low Temp Last Night 70F

Highs mid 70s yesterday and again today. But it all comes to an end tomorrow. The Minnesota /Dakota contigent is finally going to share some of the cold air with us. On behalf of the NC crowd we thank you. I needed to put the convertible top up for the winter.

I agree. Our bulbs think it is Spring and they are sprouting green shoots. While outside a lighting bug just landed on me.

I have never seen the higher temps. last this long during Jan. Who needs Fla.

I'm in the Minneapolis area and when I got up this morning it was 17, it is currently -3 with a wind chill of -25. Actual temp tonight is supposed to be
-22. I think I better go out an plug in my truck! All the big snow storms have missed the metro area this winter, which is fine with a 20 mile commute every day. 3 flakes can be floating around and everyone loses thier minds in traffic. Well all you warm weather guys say a little prayer for those of us on the frozen wasteland that our vehicles start in the morning!

    Jim,
What's wrong with it being in the 60's? That's warm. It was almost 65 here yesterday, I turned off the heat & opened the windows.
It's 28 here now :Dou: and should be in the single digits tomorrow

Well, Its -2* here in Lincoln tonight. Only suposed to be a high of 6 and talk of snow on Friday. Don't need any more snow, we have 6" already and Greg and I still have a bunch of stuff to move down from Omaha. No fun moving in snow and cold weather.

   :af: :af: :af: @ mother nature.

Am leaving Beijing, China winter cold and heading for Bali, Indonesia Saturday morning. Golf on Sunday, and some "Sales Meetings" (aka a boondoggle) Monday through Wednesday. Bali is 88 high and 78 low everyday. Life is a beach.:)

    Weather Crazy Perhaps

As I read the posts on this thread decided to mention how it is going here in Fairbanks, Alaska. I look down over the valley where Fairbanks is located and it is -45 to -50 the last couple of days . Today it got up to -20. So makes one wonder what is crazier the weather or people who live here???? Oh, I should mention a term called ice fog. Even during the day it is like driving in a very thick fog. Actually ice crystals suspended in the air. Great place to live if you can arrange to be gone Jan and Feb and perhaps Dec also. Bye

When I went out at 5.30 this morning it was 70F with a light breeze. Toads were hoping around in the landscaping lights looking for insects as it was still dark. Then a line came through and it rained frogs.

Got to work last night when the front went thru. Started out warm and pleasent, about 65*. Then it rained and I got very wet. Then we started home in Mars PA (still about 65) at 1130 PM, by the time we got to Butler PA (about 30 miles via railroad) 1220 AM Fri, it was snowing. I don't think I've ever witnessed a temp drop like that, in that short of time in my life!

I like the winter! Its usually the only time I don't have to bring a rain coat with me to work. But this is an unusual winter. I wish it would have stayed in the single digits, like before Christmas.
