Does anyone know if or who may have replacement panels for parts of the firewall. I thought it was just the floor pan on the driver side that was rusty but it carries on up the firewall near the bottom of the frame mount on the drivers side :ball: . Will we have to fab this up or can we purchase the parts. Its a 72 gs thanks guys.

If you can take a pic...would be a big help.
Contact Mike Garrison (RACEBUICKS here) as he has several 4 door models he is cutting up and he will have the sheet metal you need.

    Rich,
Looks like a clean car...is the rest of the rear clip in good shape...if so, you should have no problem selling it.

I tried so hard to sell it, no one wanted it. I couldn't get $250.00 for the darn thing. It's now half chopped up. On the good side, it's helped out four others so far. Maybe 5 if Chris sells the quarter ends :TU:

    You want part of this?

Before your trash it....I would remove the top cowl panel where the windshield rests...common area for rust.

Another good item is the rear panel between rear glass and trunk lid.

If you were closer to me... I would have bought it...well worth $250 for a clean rear clip.

Actually I need the top of the cowl just in front of the windshield on the pass side also. If you can cut those parts out I'll take them if you figure my body man can weldem in along with the lower firewall. I have shipping address in Northern Mn.

    racenu,
I see the floor pan damage! carefully look in the cowl area; this is the sorce of the leaks. I worked on my damage then bought a rottisserie for the body!!!
it is amazing the rust one finds when you can rotate the body

I`ll post some pics later this week
