On 64-67 A body, there is a 3/4-1" section across the base of the windshield
between the window molding and the cowl vent panel that is body color. You
would have to remove the cowl vent panel and windshield molding to work on
    this area.
Does anyone know if there is a rust repair panel for these car's?
    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

There is a reproduction piece available....Most GTO/Chevelle/etc vendors have it for about $60.

Wow! :eek2: Who would be the best vendor to go to for a repro piece for a '65 Skylark hardtop?

    Spot Welds

Does anyone have a drawing that shows where the spots welds holding this piece are located?

I believe those where done by human beings and far from exact location on every car. Just clean it up and you should see them. If not, start peeling it up and when you come to one, drill or grind it out, peel it up until the next, drill or grind it out and so on.

Did the part you had shown here have the mounting points (5 or 6 of them, I think) for the windshield clips? Can you post a photo of the entire length of the part? I can't find a vendor who makes a more detailed photo or drawing available.
