Finally got out for first Sunday afternoon cruise today, beautiful weather, car ran good, handled good, stopped good. There were a couple of issues that will have to be sorted out, a noise in the front end when making a sharp left turn, and the passenger side door handle came off when my wife tried to get out. Didn't really romp on it yet, or take it on the freeway, but put in about forty miles just cruising city streets. Looking forward to finding a deserted stretch where I can air it out once I solve that front end noise. Still have to install the radio, hook up the AC, and figure out if the factory air cleaner can be modified so that it doesn't hit the hood. But I want to get some cruising in before the start of the rainy season.

Bought the car as a GS350 roller with body work done last November. Put in 455 rebuilt with forged 9.5 to 1 pistons, stage 1 heads, Comp cams 268H, Edelbrock manifold, Hooker headers, mini-starter, hi-output alternator, MSD distributor, Griffin aluminum radiator. Rebuilt TH400 with shift kit, 2000 stall converter, B&M trans cooler, 3:42 posi. Four wheel disc brakes, boxed rear control arms, Hotchkis upper A-arms with tall spindle conversion, heavy duty sway bars. All new wiring, Legendary interior, Robbins convertible top, new brake lines, braided steel fuel and transmission lines, new fuel tank. Thanks a whole, whole bunch to everybody who gave information and advice, and to those I got parts from. Never had an issue, parts were always as described, well-packaged and came in a timely manner. This project would have been way harder if not for you guys. As soon as I go back and get a list together, I'm going to thank everybody by screen name so others can know they're good people to do business with.

Really nice. What is the story behind the buckets and console? Is it a conversion or a COPO?

Thanks. It's a conversion. Car originally had a bench seat and column shift.
