:Smarty: For those of us that have tried every magic liquid on the market and still are not satisfied try this..... but at your own risk and there's no guarentee's. MIX: 1/2 part mineral oil 1 part dirty engine oil (though clean is preferably) 1/2 part of tranny oil THEN ADD THE ABOVE INTO A CONTAINER, CONTAINING: 1 1/4 part iodine (available at most pharmacies or at EVERY farms co-op) mix the above mess together, OUTSIDE, and stored in a bottle for later use. A better idea would be one of those metal cans with a pump handle and a long flexible tube, so you don't dump the stuff everywhere. Use degreaser to remove it from any unwanted parts of vehicle or body. *****IMPORTANT***** THE FUMES THAT COME OFF THIS MESS WILL REALLY BOTHER YOUR EYES! WHEN YOU USE IT, WALK AWAY FOR AN HOUR AND LET THE RUST DISSOLVE AND THE FUMES DISPERSE. WEAR GLOVES AND EYE PROTECTION. AND WHILE NOT TEST ON PAINTED SURFACES, IT'S PRETTY DAM LIKELY IT WILL EAT PAINT!! OH AND I MORE THING, THIS STUFF IS FLAMMABLE AND STICKY. So unless you enjoy the smell of burning flesh, smoke with the other hand! (I probably should've been paying more attention in hind sight o No: ) The reciepe above is not a "SUPER AMAZING RUST REMOVER", while it does work better then some fluids out there, it won't be the greatest. And I've intentionally left out one of the ingredients that would make it the best product in the world. I may only be 21 right now but hey..... I'll have to do something with my retirement in 30 years, so why not sell penetrating fluid? :TU: :laugh:
