I have for sale a Mallory Unalite that I got in a package deal. It is stamped from TA performance. I have not ran this, but it did come out of a running engine. It has been stored inside. It is located in Hesston, Kansas. The price is four million dollars! wait.... thats not right. The real price is 150.00 plus actual shipping. Please respond in this public forum per board rules. Thank you. Allen

This is NOT a unilite. It is a Mallory Comp 9000 for a 455 Buick. It's still in Hesston, Kansas and it's still 150.00 Thanks, Allen

Are you sure that's a Unilite? Doesn't look anything like the one's I have. Just thought Id throw that out there.

It is for a 455. I will take a picture of the plug tuesday. I will also get a better picture of the tag on the side of it. Allen

Mallory has several models of distributors. This is a Comp 9000 for a 455.

DEADMANSCURVE my first word : truck

    350 - 455 , only dif may be gear teeth . 350 - 14 , 455 - 13 i think . this may work either way . and i think the comp 9000 does use a unilite style trigger . its just not a unilite model . i always liked em - lookin kinda race !
    edit : just checked my 2005 mallory catalog - 1967-1976 400,430,455 Buick , two comp 9000 choices .
    > 86 series , #8664401 , unilite with vac advance
    > 87 series , #8764401 , breakerless with vac advance
info on both states "with fully adjustable vacuum and mechanical advance"
checked TA catalog - that sounds like there used to be a mechanical advance unit available and they listed a 350 part# also - TA #8664301 with vac advance .

I didn't show my interest in my reply (because no vac advance).
Just replied to let OP know he might want to add 455 (430) or 350 in this thread.
    So Tony is next.
