My 1st car was a buick skylark 67 2dr ht. Dad bought it for me when I was 13. Dad was a automotive mecanics teacher, we rebuilt the 340 motor and had the car painted burgandy, it had buckets, console and a black interior. All of my money from part time jobs went to the money pit. It got plated when I turned 18, rechromed bumers, chromed wheels, blacked out windows, a kick ass sound system and AC/DC pouring out the windows while doing the weekend AM crawl. Young and broke, it died from a few years of abuse and neglect. Now I'm 40 years old and have just catered to my mid life crises! Oh ya, I bought another 67 2dr ht bird, only 47,000 miles, west coast car. Actually I kind of stumbled into it, it was not for sale but the guy was thinking about it. It flew into the bodyshop last week, the boys there do great work, it is already stripped down. The guys could not believe how solid...no patch panels required. Should be ready for the summer. It will get 17 inches torq thurst 11, 505's, drop the front by 1.5 inches...the biggest difference with this car will be that the only women sharing the back seat with me will be the wife! :Brow: But man are parts ever tough to find...Michel

That is so cool! Yes,all of our cars are hard to get parts for,but when you find them, they are worth their weight in gold. Take some pics of your car and post them here. We'd love to see them.

    Oh yea

Just try to find a used Timing cover in Arizona. When we did it cost 150 bucks and took a week to de-grease but the end result was good. Its easier to buy a 500 dollar junker and strip the parts ! :Dou:

67 quarter panels are the holy grail of Buick parts, sounds like you've got a good one!
