Okay now that I have My New Rebuilt S/P 400 in myy CAT, I was wondering what is the best way to hook a switch up so I can Manually operate the Converter? Also If I were to use a "DIMMER SWITCH" from a headlight unit is there a possiblity of burning up my Convertor? Or would a Momentary switch be better? I would like to be able to use it when I take off and also when I am on the Highway so I can get that "KICK IN THE BUTT" when passing a car! :3gears: Does anyone have a picture(s) of the wiring of the Switch or a diagram?

    Don,
Very easy. The switch has 2 leads. One goes to a key on 12 volt source(like the fuse box, or other wire). The other lead goes to the horizontal spade on the transmission. That's it. You can use a simple toggle switch, momentary on switch(like for a line lock or trans brake), or dimmer switch (it won't burnout anything) I like the momentary switch. Put it on the shifter. Push the switch for high stall, let it go when you want low stall.
