TurboBuick.com is hosting a Buick Turbo Nationals at Ronnie Sox's old home track, Piedmont Dragway, in March 2010. It looks to be a big event with Dutweilder coming from Cal., Cotton coming from Mass etc.

They have a really special guest set, Buddy Ingersoll of NHRA fame.

This is set for March 15 -20, 2010.

    Here is the announcement :http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=190259&highlight=piedmont

The Carolina GS Club will be coordinating a Buick show which is not just limited to Turbo Cars. John Looney who is a Board member here will head this effort.

Maybe some northern guys from this Board will cold want to get out of the weather and join us. The track is right of I 85 near the town of Burlington just west of Raleigh -Durham. It is a one week event.

Are there any blown v8 Buicks willing to come down and have a heads up showdown a couple of the faster V6 guys??

It will take someone like Rod and Dannie or John Csordas because the v6 guys will have some of their top cars there. They have some v6 cars that run a 7-8 second quarter mile.

Perhaps there is a new TA V8 aluminum powered car in progress that will be ready by March?:Do No:

I hope the blown v8 cars will be there. We will have some heavy hitters coming for sure. Wouldn't be surprised if we see some mid 4's in the field. The Quick 8 is paying $1500 to win so the money is there. I would prefer that the money goes to a Buick powered entry. There will be some Turbo SBC and BBC as well as 1 blown V6 that will try for the money and several twin and single turbo V6's tryin for the win. Let me show you what the winner will receive courtesy of ZDDPlus. Not only will you get the money but the winner also get a 2 foot by 4 foot check to hang in the trailer or in the garage when you get home, any takers?? Click below and see:eek2:
