Adam, you don't know how close you are to the truth there!

Tom, not sure at the moment which car to take to Norwalk.
I've registered both the convertibles for the Batavia BCA event. Greg Scharding will help me drive the green one and trailer the red one.

WOW, it even has power locks!
How many convertibles had them?? (I remember your post about rare options)
Did you add them or were they factory installed?
How did you find all your nice Wildcats? Do they reproduce themselves once they are together
If you ever get tired of taking care of all your cats, let me know, I might be able to help you :Brow:

Thanks, its really a great thing to share with you all.
Phil, yes its a factory vacuum lock car, I'm not remembering the totals on that but for Sea Foam Green Custom Convertibles its one of 2 with the vacuum locks and PW. Hows that for obscure rarity? I think its one of 82 dual quad automatic cars.

Wow!! Your Wildcat restorations set the standard for the rest of us. I think someone already asked this but, how did you find this car? I don't think I've ever seen a '65 Wildcat with power locks.

I'm hoping to make to Batavia myself (at this rate, I'll probably have to stay in Rochester). I've got to see these cars in person! We'll be taking our newest addition (2005 Buick Ranier) to the Buick family. My '65 Wildcat convertible isn't quite ready for that long of a trip.

    Hey Greg,
This car was advertised in Hemmings. I was living in S. Carolina but getting ready to move back to Cincinnati when I saw the ad. The phone number was a Cincinnati exchange like 681-xxxx. Since that is the same as my work # 681-YYYY, I called just to see where they were located.
I moved back in Sept, arranged to see the car (10 min away from home) and did not buy it till June the next year- when the lady called me back and I offered a lot less than the hemmings asking price- she took it.
I was kindof ignorant about rarity of the dual quad! I learn pretty quick and never regretted the purchase. :beer

Just got her home. Can you say EIGHT PACK!
There's a spot on the drive home, entrance ramp beside a concrete wall-opened her up and listened to the sweet sound of the dual quads and dual 2.5" exhaust :Brow: sweet
