Martin brothers. Yep about the best realistic show out there that guys like us can build. Kindigit/Bitchin rides definitely do the best "out there" builds. I can relate to Martin brothers. Kindigit I can aspire to.

Okay these reality auto racing/restoration/build shows maybe annoying sometimes but you gotta hand it to them; they are getting very rich!

    Soooo, not so dumb.

I agree that some of these shows are ridiculous.... I do record a bunch of these though like Detroit Muscle, Garage Squad , Graveyard Cars and Fantomworks etc... at least I can turn on the tv and see cool cars and learn a little rather than most of the crap on TV.... but yeah Mark W is getting goofier by the episode... need more car talk and less B.S.

As has been said by others in this thread, I wouldn't last a day with Mark. I'll tip my hat to him for his Mopar knowledge, but for me he would be impossible to work for or with.

Tony is from my neck of the woods & can go above Mark as far as knowledge about Mopars & he says the same thing.

I think a 1969 would be a Dodge Daytona and a 1970 is the Plymouth Superbird.

Fast & Loud died after Aaron Kaufman left. The show started going downhill when they built that Ferrari F40 IMO. Kaufman is supposed to start a new show soon. Looking forward to what he builds without Richard Rawlings in the way.

I wan't to believe Mark is basicly a good guy and boss, and yes his hamming gets annoying but no denying Graveyard Carz is a Mopar guy's dream show. I haven't yet caught any try's of insulting the watchers like Fantom works does.
Every single episode of Fantom works tries to put things over the watchers like showing wrong parts or not even the same car they are working on. One example, on the 1970 350 GS they show the suppositly old 10 bolt they took out on the floor and it's a small leaf spring unit, another is the 1970 396 Chevelle SS and in some pic's is a LS6 car doing a posi burnout, yet he claims is has a open rear when its on the lift "with AC also" which you couldn't get with the LS6.
Its pretty insulting to those who know a little yet a big scam to those who don't..It really should be off the air but people still believe in him I guess.
Wheelers and dealers I like and Graveyard Carz are just about the only 2 I watch.

Yea but getting rich doing what they do. A car lover's dream!! I used to drive by Welborn's all the time when I lived there. Even went there one time to get a price on wet sanding and buffing the 72 GS 455 I had when living there. That 72 won a World of Wheels first place. And it had a Maaco paint job. Graveyard Cars are turning out some Beautiful Automobiles!!!

One thing to consider - What we see on the show is determined by the editing staff. They in many cases do not have a clue as to the content of the show. I would hate to be the editor of a show on ladies fashions.

You make a great point John, that reminds...about 15 years ago I worked with a bunch of guys who were into street rods. They all went out to California and had a tour of Boyd Coddington's shop. When they got back, I asked them if Boyd was a jerk like on tv. They said he was the nicest guy you'd ever want meet. Basically they took a LOT of footage during the week and edited down the most "dramatic" portions which portrayed Boyd much different than he was in real life.

I haven't read every note on this thread but I was horrified that a few years ago on fantomworks that they charged a guy a few thousand dollars for a 1972 N25 bumper. Totally stupid. I would say that on the other end is wheeler dealers. They throw in labor hours for free determinating if they make a profit. I watch most of the car craft shows. But it's hard to believe that people would really do this stuff if it wasn't at least partially subsidized by the fact that they are putting it on TV.

Mike! Good to see you back on here. I saw the 72 GS episode...they said it was FIVE grand for the bumper. I guess if you count the 100 hours someone spent looking for one, the core, rechroming, install, all the parts that go on the bumper, etc...you might get close to that number. But did you see the end of the episode where it showed a close-up of the bumper? It was pitted under the chrome.
