I am out, my wife and girls are in Europe and I have Grant with a baseball tournament. Throw in we have a move the next Monday and my one daughter is only home for one day that I would miss if I raced before she leaves for the second part of her 5.5 weeks gone.

Larry is coming, and I think his son Bobby is too. Larry I believe intends to bring the SC/360. Bobby the Mustang.

I hope everyone really enjoys the weekend.

I will be there. Just need to unbury the Poncho. The W-31 resto has exploded all over the garage and the basement. It's slowly moving along though

I don't believe so, but I'll find out tomorrow

I will have a fresh 1971 six pack Challenger in my trailer but it is not mine. It belongs to Bryan Doyle. His parents bought it for him 4 years ago as a high school graduation present. The car was a bit of a basket case requiring major metal work. Bryan replaced the cowl, quarters, trunk floor all himself. He did all the body work and even sprayed the car himself. He did all the interior work and the drive train as well. Car should have some smoke, it has a pump gas 493 with a solid roller. This will be it's maiden voyage down the race track so we are hoping to leave all the bugs in PA. We used to spring this kid from school and take him racing with us. Now he has his own tires to melt. We are all real proud of him stop by and check it out.

    See you soon

The Green Car officially hates Me for letting it sit the last 4 years. New dash ,Cluster, wire harness is in.. Rear end back in the car, suspension all back together cleaned and greased... New master cylinder on and brakes bled... Decided to check spring pressure since it sat 4 years with a few valves open.. 2 REALLY wasted springs 90lbs seat pressure- so Was gonna change 2 springs and shim others since they only lost 10-15 lbs.. My little pancake compressor I was using gave up the ghost while I was trying to change #8 intake.. Dropped the valve into the cylinder....

THAT's The Last straw Just taking Rhondas Olds, and play with Milller and the Other cubically challenged cars.

Tim sorry to hear about your Chevelle - I was looking forward to seeing it again!
Could you also help a non-cubically challenged car?
My pops and I will be there; since this is an even-numbered year the 68' H-O will get use.
I have a new starter with a nice fresh starter gear that doesn't like to engage the flexplate teeth consistently - so if any of you are behind a 68 H-O in the lanes just wait for me to try the darn new starter a few times - it should start! Also a new positive battery cable, replacing the one with a fried end, and routed closer to the block (away from the manifold) should solve a hot-start problem the car had developed.
I've driven my car very little and besides the usual packing on Thursday I need to find my timing light. THAT is what I might need a loaner/help for! Car was popping (backfire?) at the top of 2nd gear (in just one brief WOT run) but with old fuel in it and an unknown timing setting.
My wife is getting through her health issues and wants me out-of-the-house so she can do some work - tells me to GO RACING! Fine with me!

Weather should be good; we're driving out Friday AM so we probably will not be at the track until around 10:00 A.M. Safe travels!
