I would like to put bf goodrich radial ta's on my 15 x 6 stock ralleye rims on my buick wildcat. I was hoping to put 235x60x15 on the front and 255x60x15 on the rears. Would this size work on a 6" rim? Would using 235 or 255 x 70 tire be better? Your input is appreciated.
    Thanks, Dino.:3gears:

On my 75 Lesabre I am running 235 75 15 Bridgestones that I bought cheap off of craigslist, they even have a nice little 1 inch WW.
May not be the look for you but they ride great :pp

I think 235 section width tires are the largest recommended for a 6" wide rim.

with safety in mind, 235r60 is recommended on 7" rims.
255r60 will be okay on 7" rims.
personally, i would mount 225r70 on the 6" rims.

Thank you for the replies gentlemen. Would 255's fit on the front or would they rub with steering?
