Maybe we need a whole section on the forum for the people who are passing?

Maybe we need a whole section on the forum for the people who are passing, it seems like everyday there is another. This way if someone is not on the board for a week or two we could easily catch up on who’s past on.

 

We need a quick approval on this one. Nobody would want to be first on this list so, start it with a couple of legends who are no longer with us. We could also learn some interesting stories, facts, and pictures of our lost friends from those close to them.

 

A locked no forum
How about In Memory Of and is ran by a mod that is locked with no comments unless it comes from the person closets to the one that passed

 

Not to hijack and I agree with the request, but also a forum for logistics where people who are willing to transport parts, one-way empty trailers, etc. can post their upcoming travel plans which are often known quite a while in advance.

 

Unfortunately I agree, we need something, due to the number of folks that we are losing. I will think about the best format for it.

I would also request to be banned from this list for the next 25 +years.

 

I don’t think we need it to be a locked thread, and there are several posts already on this board of people that have passed, and could be moved over.

Seems notifications have been running smoothly as is. You going to throw rock stars & actors in with the Buick members too?

 

I'm OK with member Obits, but not with all the others.

While we're on the subject, does anyone know what became of Marxjunk? He disappeared from this and several other forums in Dec 2020.... that was a bad time. I fear the worst.

Well,the possibility of starving to death exists when attending a Buick event...lol I know some restaurant hogs that take their time eating..

 

My wife has orders to post here first in the event of my untimely demise. You all will know the best way to dispose of all my stuff. Told her as of now and until further notice my son gets nothing. especially my cars.

 

She'd probably sell it all to you right now while I'm sleeping. Or better yet while I'm at the Nationals, lol. She actually has one board member's # just in case. Been meaning to give her a couple others.

Good question. On social media (which this is although many of us have met irl) it seems you don’t usually miss ppl for awhile & sometimes not until they come back & then you realize they haven't been around.

Could always try PM'ing - At least that'll his his email. Hopefully he's ok.
