BIG NEWS This year I will be setting up a Showcase of 1969 Chevelles and El Camino(s), with the hottest 396 available...........the 396/375 horsepower L78 with the L89 aluminum cylinder head option. MY GOAL: is to gather 12, Fully Documented, Real Deal, Best of the Best, L89 Chevelles/El Camino(s) to highlight the very special, very rare (400 made) L89 option. I plan to include at least one of each body style which could be ordered with the SS 396/375 hp L78 option and the L89 aluminum heads. MY DREAM: is to find L89's in every possible condition, such as Survivor, Restored, Day 2, and Vintage race car. MY DREAM OF DREAMS: is to find a ratty, filthy, neglected, never seen before by anyone but the original owner, BARN FIND L89. Now my request to the Muscle car community.......................please help me find 12 of these rare beasts.
