    shades_o_Grey I am soooo broke

In case I forgot to tell everyone, my family and I are moving to Phoenix in June. I have talked to a few people, and been told:

There are at least 4 good drag strips
South Phoenix is really just one big auto boneyard
There is a car club on every main street corner
There is a car show every other weekend somewhere, always.

What a Mecca! Can this ALL be true? If not, can someone fill me in on fun stuff to do in Phoenix in the summer, besides sweat?

    Brado

There is a car show every Saturday at the Pavillions shopping center in Scottsdale. It's on Indian Bend Road. In the past 3 weeks, I saw 2 Stage 1 GS ragtops. However, there are VERY few Buicks there.

Very true Brando, as mentioned there is the Scottsdale show every weekend plus a smaller event in Chandler or Gilbert every so often. There are a few guys with Buicks.

Cool!!! We're heading that way as soon as the lease is up on this apartment. I'll be starting at UTI in the summer, and I was wondering... How is the economy in AZ?. The texas hill country, while beautiful, is wayyyy too expensive for me to keep living here at my current salary.

What town in Texas do you live in? Housing here is all over the board depending on where you want to live. Overall I think it's cheaper to live here than where I'm from in Colorado but costs are climbing. Where do you plan on living here?

NO! IT's not ALL true, but a lot of it is! Send a PM to me for more details on economy, cost of living, etc.
