Mequiars Clay Bar System...

I've done 4-5 with one bar... Then I'll still keep it for the glass and use a new one for the paint.

 

Admittedly, I am nuerotic about this stuff, but more than one use is definitely ok. just don't drop it or you'll stand there for minutes trying to figure out how to "save" it. You can't and MUST not. My Red GTI knows why. Steve

 

The 5 second rule doesn't apply to clay bar. :laugh:

The box system is what you want
It will come with the clay bar, detailer spray to use with it and a wax for after you're done.

Get it at Walmart, Autozone, Advance, Napa... pretty much everywhere should have it.

The Mequiars kit I purchased from Advance Auto had:
2 clay bars
1 bottle of quick detailer
1 bottle of wax
1 micro fiber towel
total cost was $17

Just bought that same kit at Wal-mart yesterday, and used it..............Wow!!!!!!! The '03 Black Dodge Ram looks brand new, very slick system. Although my back today is totally screwed-up, too much "WAX ON WAX OFF" like the Karate Kid!

 

Was'nt it nice how easy the wax came off after the clay bar treatment :bglasses: I started using it on our '03 Envoy today, so far so good.
