I have had these for a couple of years and no longer have a current need for them. I probably used them for 10 passes.

They are 26x8.5-14 Slicks, mounted on regular steel wheels with MT Tire tubes.

Great way for the beginning drag racer to bolt on some serious traction, and for CHEAP.

One of these slicks sells for $200 new, with no tube or wheel.

$250 + Shipping for the Pair.

    Paypal or Check.

What is the backspacing and what bolt pattern? 4 3/4" or 5". Also what is combined weight? Thanks

I'm interested, but because shipping would be extraordinary, I'm wondering if you'd separate the steel wheels from the tires. I have stock 14 inch Buick rally's, would these fit?

Not sure what the backspacing is. I can find out tomorrow. Standard 14x6 Wheel. Fits on my Stock 71 Skylark Rear end. No idea what the weight is.

That won't be a problem. I will have to add the cost to separate the wheels to the shipping price. However, with no wheels the shipping cost will go down.

Rallye wheels should work fine. However, on these steel wheels the valve hole in the wheel had to be drilled out to accept the tire tube's valve.

Let me know if Ken doesnt want them. I don't want the steel wheels either. Thanks

455 Powered, you're up man. I really am not in the market as much as I thought. I might borrow a sticky from someone local "if" I run at Musclepalooza again in May. Still have 8 or so feet piled up of "global warming" blocking the car in.

Also, I'd really just rather not drill my wheels for valve stem.

M/T website list weight for tire and tube at about 22lbs. I dont know what size box would be used, but could you figure shipping to 62301 commercial address?

Cason, I'm curious what kind of shipping quotes you have for tire/rim combo? I may end up doing this also, in the spring.

Well, I've noticed UPS charges the same price whether the tire has a wheel or not. So I am going to have to charge a little extra for someone who wants to buy only the tires and tubes, because I will have to pay to get them disassembled.

$120 for the pair is an average price, however for a buyer that does not require that amount to ship when I drop the stuff off at the UPS store I am offering to refund the excess. UPS.com does not have an "irregular item" option when getting a cost quote.

Even with shipping, you are still below the retail cost that I paid for just two bare slicks.

I wouldn't rely on UPS.com to give a quote on an item like this. If practical, take it in to UPS for a price. They have all kinds of extra things they'll charge more for, that aren't mentioned online.

I agree, that's why I am overestimating shipping, and refunding the difference.
