Milan TnT is usually $20 for a car and driver (unless they raised it this year). You can run as many times as you can get through the line.

    I think it was $25

It looks like the regular bracket program on Friday night. Which usually means they will call the "no box" class up only TWICE for T&T before they start the bracket racing.

Can't make it this Friday as I am working, but I intend on going to the Wednesday T&T on the 15th instead.

Friday night program is test and tune from 4pm to 7pm and then the Street racing brackett program which is a no box brackett race and they call for test and tune in between rounds.

Cost is 25 to test and tune and 30 to run in the King of the street brackett race, theres a 250.00 payout if you win KOS. Its a great chance to get seat time while racing, most of the guys we go with get into the race program also, you would be surprized at how consistant the Purestock cars are when the track Bites!

Frank, Friday night is NOT a box no box race and is allways the better night! If you open the gates at 4pm its no problem to get in 6-8 passes by 5:30-6pm and be out of Milan before the crowds roll in.

Hope to see some Purestockers out Fri.........................Paul

    Paul,

That does sound a lot more casual than the usual Saturday T&T/bracket program. Wish I could be there.

    Hey Guys,

Sorry about not posting sooner, busy weekend, One son home from school other son had a road trip planned to pick up his drivetrain.

Friday night was a blast!!! Lot of runs in if you wanted to Hot lap, Dave Dudek came out with Iggys 70 Hemi Runner, Bob K with the Cuda, Jimmy Bowman with the Bee(V2-Orange),John Hlivco with his Bee (Y2-Yellow) Mr Jack Lee, Bee (F6-Green) Pete Papazian (68 Green GTX) Mike Killano (Purple AAR) Mikes Cousin,Sorry Forgot Name but rememberd car(Black 69 GTX) Dale Cramer (71 Challenger R/T) Jeff Morgan 71 LS6 Corvette, Jim Keys 67 Cornet R/T, Mike Marple 71-340 Demon EV-2 I know I'm missing somebody but thats who came out.

Track was Hooking hard, Milan is second to none the last couple of years IMHO, they are busting there tails to Prep track! Air was good not great good,77deg. Elev was at 2100 and Bar was 29.5 this was according to Jim Keys weather station (so dont shoot me Jim L, Really like your site that you posted Jim!) Everybody was running well ! I'll give you some of the numbers off the top of my head, these were the numbers that I heard in the pits may or may not be there best times?? Dont quote me on these numbers, and sorry guys if I didnt get your best et's.

Dave Dudek/Iggys Fast Runner had a couple of runs one was 11.00 andf at that point Dave was told to shut it down No Roll bar, he was just comming around and I think a 10 Sec pass was just one pass away. Bob K the Cuda was running strong as Posted by Donnie he did run 11.59 at just about 122, Jim the 60 on that run was mid 1.8's Bob did run a few much better 60's and on those passes he went 11;60 and a 61 but his MPH was way down somewhere around 98-100 or something like that, again dont quote me on that,I dont think he wanted to be the next guy to be told to shut it down no Bar, Jimmy Bowman was yanking some gears and I think he went deep 12.70, John Hlivco's Bee went low 12;40's Johns car is a detailed to the nines car with Power Steering he seem to be getting quicker every time out, Jack Lees Bee went 12.28 that cars running strong we had some problems with the needle and seat on that one so hes still not done for the year, Pete Papazian 68 GTX went 13.50's-60's??? Pete really needs some bias plys he ran on radials and his 60's shortchanged him, Mike Killano ran strong in the AAR 13;20's That AAR is coming along, Mikes cousing 69 GTX went 13;30's first time out with the car its a 4 gear not too shabby for 440-4bbl first time out, Dale Crammer ran 12;90's with the 71 Challenger R/T thats also a 4 gear car Dales getting that car sorted out fast and its really starting to show some strong numbers, Jeff Morgan with the LS6 Vette, Jeff was trying to sort out a prior problem thats been biting him for the last couple of track session, he finnaly found his problem , fuel pump 2-3psi at half track so Jeff didnt get any clean runs in but at least its an easy fix, Jim Keys car is starting to come around it ran 12;08 I believe cars got some big MPH for a new car I believe it went 117 and change and there working on the 60's but it comming around, Mike Marple brought out his 71 Demon 340 car its a 4 speed car and his toy, it not a purestock or fast car just a sweet 340 demon that Mike likes to Row the gears in and runs around in, Mike yanked the wheels his first pass and ran 11;70's at 117-118,That car is one wicked street car! My Challenger ran its best et there and finally gave up an 11.91.

Everybody had a blast there, I wish more guys could have showed up, sorry I didnt give much of a heads up, I'll do my best to give more notice next time around.

On a diffrent note, I've talked to Milan about trying to rent the Track sometime next year to try and do a third event, sometime in Between Martin and stanton, for the first time ever Milan seemed receptive of the idea, Milan wont give up its Saturday Program but has suggested that we can Rent track on a Friday from 9am until 4pm for Time trials and then on Sat. Run our cars with there regular program, they will give us our own designated lanes and run us as a group and we could run right after slick tire cars so theres plenty of rubber on the track, we can run from 12pm untill 10pm and even to midnight if nessary, this is the best Milan will do, the thing about Milan is there Prepping the track its not uncommen to see our car going low 1;8's high 1;7's there, I dont like the idea of running with the other program but do like the 3rd event and this is the best I can do with Milan and still keep the price reasonable, and Fast cars are allways welcome with the purestock IMHO.

Let me know what you guys think and I will post later on the track rental in its own post, we really need a couple more events to run (IMHO), theres a lot of great people involved with all of our events and its really a kick in the butt when weather bites us and we get cut short.

    Thanks Paul

I believe this was the car that was going to have a bar installed during the later part of last week and during the weekend, so it could be on it's way to Virginia this week, but engine problems on the dyno nixed that plan. Dave?

Having another event would be great. Whether it be another Michigan race or down in Rob and Benoit's neck of the woods. :beer
