Mini starter wiring help

    Searched but could not find answer. Bought mini starter that has 2 posts. What to do with yellow resister wire? Engine running with original points. TIA

    You need to install a one way diode that connects the yellow wire with the starter post.

    I used one like that. Suppose could make your own. Starter is in and sounds great cranking up!

    I just solder in a diode without wiring. Makes for neater install.
