If Jim's going......I'm going! We're just about ready to load. Leaving Thursday afternoon to arrive Friday noon. Sandro's 440-6 'Cuda is coming as well. Looking forward to sharing a few laughs with great racing friends and trophy time slips.
Jim Track will open at 10am Friday Oct 30th. They do have a track rental Friday during the day if you want to participate I was told it would be 100.00 per car for the day. We start racing around 6pm Friday nite. We get 3 qualifiers then and one test shot on Saturday morning. Eliminations to follow last year we where done by 5PM Saturday. Last year they also let us get a few passes in before they started the show as well at no cost? Don't know if that will happen again but they have been pretty relaxed about anything we asked for. I will confirm all this by Weds. I plan on being there first thing Friday morning. If you still have those worn tires bring em and we can make a deal??? Thanks Ed Cook
Hi Ed, thanks for posting the track info. I wasn't aware the track would be open on Fri for qualifying, I thought the race was only on Sat, Oct 31st. I should be able to make it there sometime Fri afternoon and I'll bring the tires along. Hey Bruno...looking forward to seeing you there! Jim
Update Track opens at 9 am Friday. There is a track rental but it may be for a limited amount of cars so it maybe first come first served? See you guys on Friday Ed
Okay just talked to Jason the track manager. Gates open at 9am Friday everyone has the option to test all day Friday for 100.00. The cost to race is 50.00 for both days. We will get three qualifiers Friday evening one on Saturday morning and then right into eliminations. Hope to see ya at the track!
