I'm at war with these little bastards. Have grubs, used Grub-X, tried poison worms, Juicy fruit gum, etc. Not enough result for me. Going to buy a Victor spike trap and a sizzors trap like Wire Tec today. Anyone have a preference over one type? I feel like Bill Murry and need to get the explosives out!
I had a vole or two in the yard. The hawks took care of them for me. All they left were the entrails and eyeballs. Cliff
Hawks here too. They take care of everything, moles, squirrels, rabbits, chipmunks, the neighbors chicken,..
Broken glass, good one! There's a neighborhood cat that roams around my house but he's either dumb or not on patrol at the right times... No hawks on patrol here. I bought both style traps. It's wait and see ....
Home depot had NO traps that kill, not surprised with world views. Ended up at Menards, got a Victor & a Yarddog, which seems to be a copy of the Wire Tec that they didn't have.
...treat lawn for grubs, with or without traps. Moles don't stick around if there's nothing to eat, and your lawn will thank you...
Feel like I'm just throwing $20's away. Hasn't killed enough of those little grubbys. A shovelfull of dirt will show abt 3-5 grubs. Now we're talking!!!!
I'll have to look into this one. Be easier to get these little buggers if they were above ground and you could see them... 12 gauge with 8 shot...
This is the grub killer I've used. Used Grub X last year, same result. Not doing a total, clean my yard kill job.
Use your lawn mower, that’s what I killed one with by accident, it was still pumping blood after I whacked it.
...grub killer needs water to carry it into ground where grubs are. Hose or light shower, downpour washes it away along with your $20 bills. If grubs aren't troubling you (they kill areas of lawn where they're munching on roots), put your effort into mole killers, but with 3-5 grubs per shovelful, sounds like you have a grub problem...
Yep, maybe a service that uses a liquid spray instead of granules might work better?? High rise condo with no lawn maybe?....or Astroturf.
