Mopar intake on a Buick

    there was a tread out there before about using a Mopar intake on a Buick by useing adapters has anyone tried this yet? any pics of one? just wandering

    Havent seen one yet, but a guy who ran a speed shop in Colorado Springs has done a couple of them. You bolt a spacer between each head and the intake, then you have to make provisions for the water passages since the Mopar is a dry intake and the Buick is wet. The bolt holes line up perfectly if I remember correctly, but the Mopar intake is a little narrower than the BBB. This is one way to get a tunnelram on your BBB! :eek2:

    I think that was kind of a thing from the past (pre-TA and Poston). Kenne-Bell sold adapter plates back in the 80's, not sure if they still do?

    The Salem Nationals DVD will have an excerpt of Charlie describing and detailing his adapters. They are very nice pieces and look to be perfect for those wanting to use MOPAR intakes.
