    Dave,
Here's a shot of the W30 that is still in the hands of the original owner who was a school teacher. He did tell me this year that if a vacuum test is still needed that I can do one.

Missed this before. Got all excited with the pic of the Vista Cruiser and forgot to read your folloing note. That really is a beauty. If it's a 4 speed, it has the real rumoity rump cam (328 adv) which is another notch above the W31 and non air Hurst Olds. The automatics got a milder version. Can't be much vacuum with either if still original factory issue. The new replacement cams aren't as aggressive.

Wonder if this small block Olds could get past tech? It's a 74 and runs 8's. Keith Seymour will recognize it. It's kinda stock appearing in the spirit of the rules.

Now the high-jack is officially complete.

I'll see your wheels up Olds, Dave, and raise you a ProMod Olds and throw in a Studebaker for a bonus! :beers2:

OOOOooooo.........That 72 (Brian Robbins driving, Keith Elkins car), was totally demolished last year at Milan. I heard he's rebuilding it. It actually started as a real car, but morphed into this promod over the years. Seems to me Brian had a 66 or 67 Nova that did same before this one. I think these cars run in the 6's now.

The Stude is super cool. I remember a few of them in Kentucky years ago with Cadillac engines put in them.

That ain't no Cadillac powering that Studebaker! heh heh heh

Great, now we're hijacking Lon's Mopar post again and turning it from an Olds hijack to a Studebaker hijack!

LON what did poor Paul Aragona ever do to anyone? Poor guy sure got beat up. I was affraid to even show him my copy of the magazine when we drove down to the washed out Pavement Pounders shootout. In the end I still did not show it to him. Why add punishment to a wasted day.

I would have thought that my Hemi beating up on a 427 Bass Boat would have made good fodder for the way Tom was writting those match ups. Of course that Virgin stock Hemi is pretty slow. Maybe it was best to not be seen.

Congrats on a nice piece on the lift off hood car/SD match up. And congrats to everyone else who got a write up.
