Hello. Are Motive gears good? I have a 12 bolt in my wagon that needs gears. I am going with 3.73's, and the guy doing it said not to get Richmond because they will be noisy. He suggested US Gear. Summit does not have US Gear, neither does Jegs. Any feedback on Motive? Thanx.
Motives... have set up close to a dozen Motive 8.5 sets. Will just say this... am not the happiest with Motives. Jegs used to sell some US Gear lines. I used to buy a ton of the US Gear Torqueline 8.5 gears from Jegs. Hi John--the guys at 118/405 in the SF valley that installed my posi in Feb used a US gear set (3:42) and they have been fine! :TU: Pete :grin: :grin:
Thanx Pete. Where do you live & what ya' driving? We got to get together for a few cold ones. My friend (Len, user name - benderbrew), has a few Buicks in a shop not too far off of the 12 and 5 fwy interchange. OK oPh, I ordered them this morning. Should be here Tuesday night. It should be fun going from a 3.42 peg legger to a 3.73 posi. Thanx guys.
