Hi, I logged into the board here for some help. If I'm in the wrong forum this might need to be moved. We are installing a 350 motor in a 73 Centurion convertible. It came in with the motor mount stands broken and the motor just laying on the frame, more or less. Somebody had welded the stands to the frame and the welds broke. We were going to bolt or reweld them in but the motor looks way low and tilted down in the front/high in the back. I know nothing worth anything about this car. Could it be that I need 455 stands or maybe it has 455's and needs 350's? The mechanic working on it doesn't want it to go in like this and I agree it looks wrong. Can anybody help that has any knowledge with how these were originally mounted in? Thanks in advance, Tom.

Best bet would be to find someone who has a set of used 350 frame pads. Then go buy a pair of 350 motor mounts for your car, and you should just be able to bolt everything in. The 350 was the standard engine in the Centurion in 1973.
