motor plate

    Has any one done a front motor plate on a stock framed car with out stock motor mounts if so i would like to here your feed back on installing the engine is it alot ezer to install the engine also would like to see some pics thanks

    I don't have any pictures handy, but you are always welcome to come over and see mine. Granted it's not a BBB, but, the idea is still the same. It is very easy to install the engine if the plate is made to sit on the frame rails before fastening to the frame.

    A little hint: you may want to do all the fit work with the engine sitting on the stock mounts. Then when you remove the stock mounts, the engine is in exactly the same place.
