Tom, I know the big cars have a 1/2 inch bolt, the 1/4 is referencing the shaft, or neck or whatever you call it,of the lugnut so it will fit thru the thick wheel and allow more threads to safely hold the wheel onto the hub Shipping and packing will be right at $22/wheel to you
