Will a Valkyrie lift the front wheel? Heavy ass Gold Wing engine 'way forward in the frame. First guess is "no".

I'm calling this story "total fabrication" until sombody can prove to me that the Big V has traction and power enough to lift.

My first thought was to call it BS too. The Valkyrie is an 800+ lb. bike, with a 100hp motor (and a nice flat 100+ft. lb. torque curve). If someone were to rev it and dump the clutch, it might come up... doesn't seem likely though.
I had a suicidal ground hog try and take me out last summer on the way home from work. I was doing about 55, and the little sucker ran right out in front of me. I only had time to gas it and lean as far back as I could and hope for the best. The country road I was on was a chip and seal nightmare (stones over tar) I would have been growing skin back for months if I hadn't gone over top of him. Good thing I was on a 700 lb. sport touring bike! Another reason I'm selling the bike and building a Buick. There isn't a ground hog around that can compete with an old Buick!

Ridden a Valkyrie myself, even squealed the rear tire dumping the clutch. There's no way just the throttle lifted the front end. Sounds like an embellishment to make the mental image funnier...

Oh the Valk will wheelie, as a mater of fact so will a GL1800(GoldWing), the flat six cylinder engine in those bikes has a friggin ton of torque and they really are not as heavy as they look.
Yes a Valk can pull the front wheel effortlessly, I bet Jim Haas knows firsthand, he owns one
