Hey guys, need to prey upon your wisdom once again. I might be able to get a 1970 lark engine for my 76 lark and was wondering how hard it will be to mount this, if I were to get it? Wiil the bolts I have right now work or wiil it need serious work to make the change. I can't find a place to figure out the info about mounting and was hoping you could help. I know a 72-80 350 will fit but not sure if they changed the housing and bolts for 72 on up. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Only reason I am going with 350 is that it's gonna be easiest to swap out and this engine is really cheap. (guy swapped for a 400)
    Thanks again!

Edit: New engine: 4bbl, 350 ci engine, everything good but broken water pump which my lark's is good

I believe the mounts are the same.

if it came with a v6, you have to use the v6 mounts. everything else bolts up to the 350. if i remember, pulleys heights might change. exhaust, its headers or have a y-pipe built. almost forgot, carb/trans linkage is a problem, but you can work around it.
