Every MCE that I recieve has damage to it. This last issue was the worst. Does anyone else have this problem ? None of my other magazines arrive like this.
Yea, mine was a bit mangled. I think it has to do with the extra glossy cover and rollers. Could ask for less gloss covers or envelopes? I know that envelopes cost $$.
i know i'm going to jinx myself but i have never recieved one issue damaged.looks like heck after i'm done reading it thoough.maybe your mail man proof reads yours for you :Brow:
mine too 1st time for me, but I just got my issue yesterday, or I guess I should say I got part of the new issue :af: The whole front cover was gone except for the mailing label with my address so they could tell where to send what was left :blast: Several pages were torn in half, hanging by a thread.
more mopars Congrats florida70bee,nice article and pics.Spetzman used to run a 6 pack car that looked just like yours.Be warned, once you show up you'll be hooked, just bring plenty of beer for the moochers. We can always use more mopars to run against those cheater buicks and olds. :moonu:
Mine is always fine. Mopar Collector's Guide used to have a problem with their covers getting chewed up by USPS machinery. At first they thought it was a Chevy conspiracy. But they discoved it was the cover construction instead. They now use two little round sticky tabs that wrap around the open edge-one towards the top and one towards the bottom. Problem solved. No more mangled covers. Does anyone have a "insider" at MCE to drop this idea to them??? :beer
My Muscle Car Enthusiast comes in a plain brown wrapper.... Just go to the website and you can fill out an online form and request a free replacement for your damaged copy. It happened once to me in the past and they sent the replacement issue wrapped in plastic.
well, it looks like Bass Boat Enthusiast did a little better job, 4 pages on Jimmy Johnson and some of the other 'heavy hitters' get mentioned........
