Well everyone, I bought the deposit for the turbos. Another couple of payments, and a Quick Fuel Carb, I should be good to go. I'm hoping for Mid June sometime to have them on and tested.. maybe..
it was my grandpas i do somewheres it was a green 4 dr hardtop no 350-2 with ac he had that a 70 lesabre a 72 225 and a few more i never saw
Its been a while.. So..turbos are at where they were in April.. Deposit only. weather is still hot (110 + everyday for last 2 weeks it seems) I got some new metering rods (new to me) from Ken G over at Everyday Performance. I also kicked up the initial timing to about 12* right now. I have bought some 15x7 rallys that should be here in the next few weeks. I took it to the track and ran twice. First run was 16.5 Second run was 16.3 @86.5 MPH (first time at track) DA was at 4900 and corrected to 15.4 Next track day is Sept 17th. I hope to have 3.42's and POSI in it for that race. I'd like to have the rally wheels wrapped up by then, but I don't think it will happen. with the initial timing set as it is, I spin my one power wheel allll dayyy long. POSI will help big time, and with the gears.. i think it will be a fun car. Turbos are still in plans, but I think I was a little to ambitious with my timeline. That's the update!
I like it. Granted, if it were a two door. I would not complain. But for the condition it is in, it could be anything door, long as its buick
Put in the gears and a POSI, in a 8.5 inch housing. I love this car, its much funner now. RE-Curve kit today hopefully. got rally wheels in the mail yesterday, will be doing some work to them and hope they shine up. things are really moving now!
