1969 Buick Electra 225 convertable with a 430-4 big block ill pics tomarrow it has 250,000 miles, but its almost mint, the car must have been garage kept, becuase the engine started like the day it was made, no smoke out the exhaust..nothin I am new to really getting into cars...and im paying 4500$ for the car..you think thats a good deal? Also im still a Newbie to the real details of what to do with such a classic car. I am a Fan of trying to get some Raw Horses for Drag races. And i have another 5,000 to spend on the car. Aside from replaced hoses, belts, etc the car has almost all its orig parts...down to the owners Manuel. Thoughts? And hello future friends
"RoWolf": Please put your name in your signature, we're all here on a friendly first name base :TU: 4000 low value US Dollars for a mint 1969 Electra convertible is not a lot of money. If it's a convertible (not convertable  ), it's an Electra 225 Custom, one of only 8,294 built for model year 1969.
Sorry for the miss spellings 3am is not my best of times to be posting i supose. But only 8,000 cars where made...wow thats fantastic news! I didnt realize that this site was so international. :beer
~Update!~ My 1st Car, Now with Pics (58k warning Here it is, feedback? Well never mind....i dont have enough posts yet to show you guys :/ well search me on facebook/JerridT Its all on there
Jerrid, You need to approve when people want to view your Facebook profile, this is the only photo that I can view there right now: Mail the photos to me and I will post them in this thread :TU: Mail to: erikboattailmeetingphotos@gmail.com
I accepted the friends request and im uploading the images to imageshack:kodak:, it was to big to send them all to you using gmail. Thanks for helping me out :beer
Don't go through all that trouble, I will post the photos in a few minutes. And there are no photos over 100 Kb, so they are really small. I don't understand why you couldn't mail them to me......o No:
Jerrid, it's not a 4 wheel drive car. The 4 on the air cleaner housing stands for "4 barrel carburator". And that 360 HP rating is what they used back in 1969, in nowadays HP that will convert into something like 260 HP. But what you want is torque, and Buicks have loads of that....:3gears:
The imageshack link can show u full size photos, i was able to email that to you But hey, the images are up I think its a beauty, anyone else concur?
Well, I wouldn't call that mint..... But still I think that 4000 US$ (that's 2,822 Euro in real money ) is a bargain for a model year 1969 Electra 225 Custom convertible :TU: !
Ya i said almost Sigh..another poke in the wound that is my :blast:US currency Maybe one day, a long long long time from now...my Govt will figure out what it is they are doing:dollar:
Don't understand me wrong here, I think it's a good car for what you have paid for it from what I see in the photos. I wouldn't mind buying it from you for that same kind of money, ship it to Europe, going through the difficult time- and money consuming procedure of registering it here and still make a big profit out of it in this condition :TU: !
:gp: lol wow iv organized what i want to work on in this order Body Inside Performance Poor thing about this car my current place of living has no garage for the car...so im hoping a Car cover will hold out
