    My plan :

    .030 stock '73 block (have)
    TA roller cam, lifters
TA Aluminum heads (have) got from the Dan Wilson estate. Plan to have them CNC’ed by Scott Brown.
TA sp3 square bore intake ( converted to sfi) probably 120lb injectors. CNC bu Scott Brown
    TA roller rockers (have)
    TA Valve covers(have)
New front Blue printed timing cover( Have)
    Billet Crank
Molnar rods cryoed or Hersche if there is a set available
DSS pistons that I figure will bring me at 9.8:1 ish
    Thinking one of Sean's girdles
SFI flywheel (have) just have to take weights off
Holley EFI, Smart coils (I have 2 other Holley 87 turbo Buicks)
Front of engine will Be all Grand National serpentine set up, Crank and cam sensor and accessories
Custom 321 or 304 headers by my fab guy that did my 3800 engine car. Turbo-Not sure on big single or dual set up.

Longer term project for me , with the world the way it is but I'm giving it a shot. Engine will go in a Regal , hope a Hot air car.

I'll update progress when I have some. Collecting parts will take sometime.
My anti-LS build or v8 GN engine

No-one has determined if any girdle is needed yet.

Badass. I have had dreams of doing that myself for years. I built a holley efi 350 a few years ago that used a few 3.8 LC2 parts. Ran great but I sold it before I had the chance to add a turbo.

I've been keeping an eye out for a 5th gen Lesabre to turn into a turbo SBB powered drag week car. One of these days...

Can't wait to see your project come together.

I’d rather not run a girdle , they like to leak and give no space between pan and frame.
But if I’m going to push it I figure I’d run whatever to help it live. I don’t run a girdle on my v6’s. Have to see.

Sounds like a great build! A GN w/2 more cyl. Curious (not critical) why not an intercooler at that point? 1000 HP seems a reasonable threshold to consider a girdle although John (@gsjohnny1) hasn't broken his bottom end. Not sure what HP he's making.

Have you considered running a stock shortblock for now just to get the project started? It would be interesting to have more data on what kind of abuse these 350s will take, I bet 500hp or so would be just fine. I wouldn't use any high dollar parts just yet if you went that route though. It would suck for a failure to trash your aluminum heads or roller valvetrain.

Then once you have the built shortblock done it would be a fairly quick swap if you already had the car running and driving with efi and boost.

Yes an intercooler forsure too but didn’t list because it’s not part of the engine. I’m a big fan of methanol injection and 93 octane. I want to drive the car , I don’t want it to be a race car.

It’s been taking 5-6 months just to get a engine machined and put together here at the local shops so I don’t think I’d be a fan of that.
I've got two other cars I’m playing with right now so I’m really looking at making this a side project and down the line finding a suitable roller for the engine. I’ll build a 4l80e for it and a 9 in the back. It will come together.

I have a feeling this will make 1000 Hp, the billet crank and girdle would be a very good idea over 700 HP...

Some of my girdled engines have pans made that are shorter to clear the frame, but would obviously not work on an un-girdled engine. I make everything as deep and far away from the crank as possible, without hitting the frame or any steering linkage.

    Thanks

This will be going in a 86-87 regal or Ttype . So it will get a gn1 performance extreme intercooler or a RJC unit . The headers will be set up like a Grand National as well . If I go dual turbo thinking 6466’s and single around 78 ish

griddle...what the heck is that? i guess it is at least 10 years of testing. this block has, wrong, is the workhorse for what we do. it has been 10k n/a. depending on which s/c and the driver, 65-7500 rpm. c/shaft is for 1.88's, but the rest is 10 under. there is a lot of odd stuff in that engine. :D. no oil filter. try to change the oil once a year. no idea what temps are and don't care. just installed an oil pr guage last year because of t/cover issues. now has a cast iron t/c. will pull out dizzie to check when it gets warmer for me. this engine gets no rest.
i'll say one thing, when i refreshened it, it is the hardest thing for me to do. just remembering to put all the odd things back together in the right place.

Your gonna have the hardware to really do some work ...no reason why you can't have a mid 8sec car....anxious to see you progress
