The pink wire has to get 12 volts from whatever you attach it to. So on a nitrous activation switch, you have to attach that pink wire to the switch wire that gets 12 volts ONLY WHEN you push the switch.

    lol
i meant the pink wire on the fuse box (ign.) has a spare port that should be a 12v switched connect.

:grin:There is a pink wire on the Retard box too. I just want to make sure you connect that correctly, because if you don't, and the ignition doesn't retard when you push the "GO" button:Dou:

That wire from the fuse box should go to the red wire of the retard box.

yes the msd+ retard box are already wired to the fuse box (ign. port)
so both get power/Signal when the ign. is turned on.
As well as my fuel pump relay is connected there as well (ign.port on fusebox)

    update ..
i finished assembling the tranny.. since i couldn't find my kick down cable anymore it took a little longer...uurgh..

put the driveshaft back in .. greased it.

put the nitrous plate on + the quadrajet.. i will definitly have clearance issues i guess..

further i picked up decent 79' camaro buckets with tracks/rails yesterday..
I will try to make them fit...
Any suggestions ? do i need the bucket conversion brackets?

Cubic Money! Good luck with all the upgrades. I got to a point where I didn't have the energy to finish the thing (that and having SIX vehicles). I want to see burnout pics when you are done.

yes the old one is good too..
just stole this 2 inch thick one basicly...
Since i live in CA and uts already up to 90 you cant have enough cooling ...lol.
should work fine and fits right in

    Hi Larry
    it is a 3 row..
but a 2 inch thick one compared to 1-1/4 of the old one ... so there will be a higher coolant capacity = better cooling.
    thanks for checking in

next thing will be the header install. Then i will see if/how to reroute the tranny lines to the radiator...

Nope, smaller tubes, less cooling. I've been warning guys about that for awhile now. It's a copy of a brass/copper radiator, and brass/copper conducts heat better than aluminum. Aluminum radiators cool better because they use bigger tubes. That's why they only need 1 or 2 rows at most.

The old radiator was good for keeping the engine cool when it was 107 F in the shade, where there wasn't any shade. S/B good enough. It is maybe 4 years old and was kept with clean coolant.

Just saying, that radiator worked fine with an SBC that was considerably higher performance than the Buick 350 I replaced it with. The upgrades you are doing should not affect the radiator's ability to cool it. I bought it based on the original 350 CI 4 BBL specs, with A/C and an AT, since I had planned to put A/C in it.
