Well I bought the car in Texas, and I can easily by the condition of it say, the previous owner hated his car. Mud stuck everywhere, including being impacted in the frame. Terrible floor pan replacment job, rotted out gas tank, and there was that little problem with DAS so here are some pictures before and what I've done so far.

Whats with the front tire pic on the transport. Did they strap it down around the balljoint? Your progress is looking good.:TU:
Thanks Eric, Well DAS or Dent And Scatches transportation, did just that when they were going to transport my car out to me. It was a blessing in disguise because its what got me so motivated to restore her so quickly.
I can't wait to see the results! Good luck on your project! ______________ TA Performance - Buick Performance Parts Catalog by TA Performance
Thanks Andy, The floor pans have been a true bear dealing with. It seems like everytime I dig a little deeper I find something else wrong. But isn't that half the fun of restoring. Pans, front windshield channel, and the firewall should be done and painted by I'm hoping this weekend. I'll post up pics when I finish this latest :beer Jeff
the work the last few weeks has been sloooooow. I pick up the motor tomorrow :TU: , and the body work is getting there. There was a lot of rust under the windshield channel, and cowl piece as well as the fender. I hope by middle summer I can be killing the streets.
so back at the ranch... I picked up the motor and it looks really nice. It has been powder coated silver and done very nice. The floor pans were welded into place yesterday, as well as the car being primered. My paint guy says he will have the firewall, dash, and windshield channel painted by tomorrow. There was soooo much rust hidden, it is crazy. As seen in the pic, when he started probing around he found a ton of spots. An extra 60 hours of work has been added to fix my lovely rust problem spots. So by wednesday, my primered rag should be getting it's guts put back into it. I'll post up more pics on thursday ray: . :beers2:
Jeff looks like you doing a good job saving this car. the feeling when you drive it for the first time after it's done will make all the hard work worthwhile. good Job.:TU: Bob
