Hi everyone,I got out the 74 Stage 1 today to wash off and check antifreeze. The picture looks pretty good but the orginal paint is in terrible shape.Bumpers are off and rechromed.A member of the original owner's family called and wants to see the car;he wants me to price it and I do not know what to do? Mixed feelings as I probably need to sell something to raise some money for the GSX.Car does need restored but runs well. What do ya'll think?

    A '74 Stage1

Well there's something you don't see very often - :TU:

With 2 GSX Stage1s needing some work, maybe something does have to give in your 'stable' :Do No:

If the price is right and it will help you with your other cars, maybe it should go back with the original owner's family. You need to set your priorities and decide how much this '74 means to you.

Good luck in your decision :beer

This body style is REALLY growing on me. There's a bunch of GS gurus that work in the city and have several GS's between 'em. One is a cherry '74 that has traded hands between them a few times. I see it from time to time on the street and it's an absolute sled that hauls. If I remember correctly, Chip(one of the guru's) told me it ran 14.0's @ 4400#'s. One heavy car but a real looker.

I agree, that body style grows on ya.

That white car can really be saved....and should be. It's pretty damn rare.

It's also screaming for some Buick Rallye's! :Brow:

    Hi Rusty,
I have a better plan! Keep the white "X" and the matching white '74 Stage cars and sell the yellow "X" back to its prior owner dirt cheap. Yea, that is a reeeeeeeally good idea:Brow:
Seriously, good luck selling her but make sure she falls into good hands.
The '74 cars are ultra rare. Does anyone else remember the Hall's dual quad through the hood mint '74 Stage 1? I think I may still have some pictures of it.:TU:
